The plot revolves around paradoxical, grotesque situations: Cactus Vasilich expands his sphere of influence now he is involved not only in the internal affairs of the office, but also in international matters; he secretly oversees the delivery sector in Moscow; he ponders the transit of power within the office and a possible move to the position of Chairman of the Cactus Greenhouse at the Apothecary Garden.
